Machine Embroidery Symposium

Can't wait for the Symposiums - Urban and I will be launching our new Rose Collection at these events. The designs and projects are simply stunning. I will post sneak peaks closer to the date.

There is one event in Mackay NQ and another in Brisbane.

We have a great presentation to share with you -  A fabulous trunk show with all the new design projects, then we will present - Sketches to Stitches.

I will  start with the initial drawings and design concept, the painting process and show how to create balanced designs. Urban will then talk about how he transforms the artwork into the stunning embroidery designs he is renowned for and give a demonstration on how he digitizes these.

He will also share with you some exquisite embroideries that his company Atelier Zundt has created for the French and Italian fashion houses.

Go to the link below to get all the info. We would love to see you there.

Best wishes

Samford Artworks

Yesterday I conducted the first day of a two day Still Life in Oil workshop for the Samford Artworks group.

They meet in a beautiful little old church and are such a delightful group of women. Themselves very inspiring.

This is Jo with the first stages of her beautiful painting.

Hard at work
Thanks Ladies, I had a wonderful day, even if I did get lost trying to get there!
I look forward to helping you finish you paintings next week.

Zundt Design

These are  projects from the Golden Harvest Book. From this collection, that Urban Zundt digitized exquisitely,  Cath Quinlan & I made projects to decorate my dining room.

The projects from Daylily Dreaming were made to decorate my bedroom..

Urban Zundt & I recently launched our design collections and books at Sew Expo in Puyallup WA in the United States. We had a wonderful time, and met some terrific people.

This is Urban and me in our booth.

Our display was mainly of the projects in the two books, Daylily Dreaming and Golden Harvest.

We also launched our latest Collection - Gerbera Jamesonii

This is our booth, and Debbie from Longview Sewing, our most wonderful assistant. What fun we had together. Lots of Laughs.

I am now Bi-lingual - I speak Australian and American, and believe me there is a difference!!!

I also got to see snow for the first time - what a delight.
